Boasting a diverse client base, Brett’s casework spans numerous industries with a specific focus on mechanical, medical, electrical, and computer technologies.
“Brett’s blend of technical knowledge, creative legal acumen, and strong litigation skills will be a valuable addition to our innovative team of IP attorneys,” said Jason Cross, Office Managing Partner for Spencer Fane in Dallas. “We look forward to how he will help the firm continue to expand its portfolio of robust industry talent and specialized client service offerings in Texas.”
Brett received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, then worked as an aeronautical engineer designing and testing aircraft before earning his Juris Doctor from Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University. He applies his in-depth understanding of complex structural and systematic design to obtain, enforce, and defend his clients’ creative property.
