Spencer Fane is proud to announce Freida Edwards as a 2025 Missouri Lawyers Media Unsung Legal Hero. She and her fellow honorees were highlighted in a special edition of the publication.
The Unsung Legal Heroes exist “to recognize the employees on whom attorneys rely day-in and day-out to consistently support their efforts. The ones who rise to the occasion despite anonymity.” Freida – who joins Spencer Fane professional staff members including Allen Darrah and Susan Cintron in earning this recognition – received this distinction for the essential role she plays in the firm’s St. Louis office. As a record specialist, she runs and maintains a very active and organized file center, leads the office’s robust digitization project, and provides case management support to many attorneys.
In her honoree profile, Freida described her favorite aspect of her job: “working together as a team and I love the way we treat our clients like people, not just a number.” She also shared why she chose her career path and what lessons she carries from her first job.
