Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce the addition of associate Zachary Fairlie to its Financial Services practice.
Prior to joining Spencer Fane, Fairlie served as a Law Clerk for two years to the Honorable Cynthia A. Norton in Kansas City, Mo. In this role, he completed a variety of in-depth research and writing for bench memoranda, opinions, and articles on complex bankruptcy issues. Fairlie is also a recent graduate of the annual Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy, a program hosted by KCMBA’s Young Lawyers Section and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri that helps new lawyers develop trial advocacy skills.
“Spencer Fane is happy to welcome Zach to the firm,” said Patrick J. Whalen, Spencer Fane Managing Partner. “Although early in his career, he has unique experience that will make him a valuable resource to our clients for years to come.”
Previously, Fairlie was a Law Clerk to the Honorable Linda R. Reade in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He obtained a law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
