Spencer Fane Welcomes Mary Bacon to Litigation Practice

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce the addition of litigation associate Mary Bacon to its newest office in Las Vegas.

Joining Spencer Fane May 15, Bacon focuses her litigation practice in key areas including commercial, construction and civil litigation. She regularly counsels business owners to settle legal issues before needing litigation, or to conclude it with the desired outcome.

“We are excited to add Mary to our newest office in Las Vegas office,” said Patrick J. Whalen, Spencer Fane Managing Partner. “Her work ethic aligns with our firm’s culture and we are confident she will succeed in serving our clients in this growing market.”

Prior to joining Spencer Fane, Bacon worked at a large Las Vegas law firm as an associate. Previously, she was employed by a government contractor that worked for the Department of Justice, and interned with the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI. She was recently recognized by Nevada Business Magazine as a Best Up and Coming Attorney in 2015 and 2016, and was also honored as a Rising Star in 2015 by the Las Vegas Business Press. Bacon earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California School of Law and a L.L.M. from George Washington University Law School.

Bacon joins John H. Mowbray, Office Managing Partner, who opened the firm’s Las Vegas office earlier this month.
