Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Associate Katherine Whitney to the Real Estate practice group in the firm’s Denver office.
Whitney focuses her work on assisting clients with regulatory compliance and commercial real estate. Her experience includes commercial finance for real estate acquisition and development. She also offers counsel and represents firearms manufacturers and retailers in efforts to comply with the National Firearms Act, Gun Control Act of 1968 and other regulations. She is recognized for her knowledge and effective advocacy for concealed carry laws in Colorado.

Whitney prepared for her legal career with a background in commercial lending, specializing in underwriting as a credit analyst. She has published articles on a variety of topics in addition to establishing her practice. She completed her undergraduate education at Western State College of Colorado before earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School.
