Spencer Fane Welcomes Helen Holden to Labor and Employment Practice

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Helen Holden, who joins the firm as Of Counsel and brings experience helping businesses successfully understand complex federal and state employment laws.

For more than 20 years, Holden has served a variety of industries, including construction, education, health care and manufacturing. Focusing on the management-side of employment law, she advises and trains management on human resource issues.

“We are excited to welcome Helen to our firm,” said Patrick J. Whalen, Spencer Fane Managing Partner. “As our Phoenix office continues to grow, Helen will provide our clients the benefit of her experience and counsel on a number of complex labor and employment matters.”

Holden joins the firm’s Phoenix office, which opened March 1 of this year. Previously, she spent five years at Sacks Tierney where she regularly advocated on behalf of employers in agency proceedings involving allegations of discrimination or harassment.

Additionally, Holden frequently writes and presents on workplace matters, and is a member of a number of professional organizations including the Defense Research Institute, where she is Program Chair for the Employment and Labor Law Committee’s 2018 seminar. She has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America for Employment Law and is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. Holden received her law degree from Arizona State University.
