Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce that it will once again be joined by Carrie Vaughn, who rejoins the firm as an associate in its Environmental and Energy practice.
For environmental industry clients, Vaughn focuses her practice on business law, water law, oil and gas law, state and local government law, and intellectual property law, where she helps her clients understand challenging legal and regulatory issues. She also regularly counsels governmental, quasi-governmental, and corporate organizations with a variety of issues relating to the environment such as water law, utility regulation, environmental cleanup and Superfund matters.
“We’re excited to have Carrie return to our firm,” said Patrick J. Whalen, Spencer Fane Managing Partner. “Given her knowledge and experience in the environmental sector, we know she’ll be a valuable asset to our growing Oklahoma City office and our clients in the surrounding region.”
Vaughn has served as counsel for the Special Investigative Committee for the Oklahoma State House of Representatives. In addition to being named a Rising Star by Oklahoma Super Lawyers, she has been an adjunct professor at her alma mater, the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where she taught state and local government law.
