Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Matthew Wine, who joins the firm’s Real Estate Group in Kansas City.
Wine, who spent a decade in banking before pursuing his law degree, offers clients a unique blend of financial and legal acumen. As a business-minded attorney, he helps clients craft strategies that contribute to their overall business goals.

As a former staff attorney for the Missouri Housing Development Commission, Wine has extensive experience facilitating state and federal tax credit programs. He also counsels small and mid-sized companies, as well as government entities, in all aspects of economic incentive programs and regulatory compliance matters.
Wine earned his law degree at the University of Notre Dame, master’s of business administration from William Woods University, and bachelor’s degree from Truman State University. He also attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison Graduate School of Banking as a Prochnow Education Foundation Scholar.
