Firm Welcomes Elizabeth Dauer, Jacob Hollars to the Firm

Spencer Fane is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Dauer and Jacob Hollars have joined the firm. Ms. Dauer will practice in the firm’s Municipal Practice Group, and Mr. Hollars will join the Litigation Group.

Elizabeth Dauer provides general counsel representation, including formation, election, budget, contract and litigation advice and assistance, for special districts throughout the state of Colorado. She earned her juris doctorate degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. During her studies at the University of Denver, Elizabeth served as a published editor for the University of Denver Sports and Entertainment Law Journal and co-mediated legal disputes for government agencies and in county court as a member of the University of Denver Mediation and Arbitration Clinic. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association and the Special District Association of Colorado.

Jacob Hollars focuses his litigation practice in the areas of employment litigation, commercial litigation, bankruptcy litigation, and special districts litigation. He received his juris doctorate degree at Saint Louis University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. While in law school, Jacob worked as a staff member and articles editor at Saint Louis University Public Law Review and was awarded “Articles Editor of the Year” by the organization in the 2013-2014 school year. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Jacob is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Denver Bar Association. He also tutored urban middle school students in communication arts and mathematics each week through UrbanFUTURE.
