Firm Welcomes Allison Tanner to Kansas City Office
Spencer Fane is pleased to announce that Allison Tanner has joined the firm’s Financial Services Practice Group as Of Counsel.
For nearly 20 years, Allison has advised clients in commercial real estate financial matters such as commercial lending, development, construction, leasing, corporate asset and stock transactions, foreclosures, and mergers and acquisitions. Her clients have included local and national developers involved in office, industrial, retail and multi-family developments in Missouri and Kansas.
“Allison is an experienced and thorough attorney who never misses a detail – despite the complexity and many variables involved in matters relating to commercial finance,” said Spencer Fane Chairman Pat Whalen. “That eye for detail is key in maintaining the firm’s commitment to delivering results in the most cost effective and efficient manner. Clients repeatedly seek Allison’s counsel in matters such as commercial lending transactions, land acquisition and disposition, development, leasing for build-to-suit transactions, office developments, industrial parks and shopping centers throughout Kansas and Missouri. Allison also represents condominium and homeowners’ associations in matters ranging from creation to foreclosure and works with national and local landlords and tenants in real estate lending matters.
Allison is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and the Missouri and Kansas Bar Associations. She received her juris doctorate from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law. She also has a master’s degree from The University of Memphis and a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma Baptist University. In addition, Allison is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Liberty Hospital Foundation.
