Spencer Fane Expands Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group

Spencer Fane is pleased to welcome Associate Ian London to the firm’s Denver office where he will join the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. Mr. London’s practice is primarily focused on civil litigation, but he has particular experience in professional liability matters across a wide range of industries including health care.

In addition, Mr. London has extensive experience defending medical malpractice lawsuits, premises liability matters, commercial landlord-tenant disputes, and construction defect claims. He has successfully handled trials in both state and federal court. Prior to Spencer Fane, Mr. London worked as an associate at a large regional firm in its Civil and Tort Litigation practice group. Before transitioning to private practice, he served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. Herbert L. Stern, III of Denver District Court. Additionally, he clerked for Kaplan Kirsch & Rockwell, LLC, clerked for the Consumer Protection Section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, and served as an intern with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

In addition to his work on behalf of clients, Mr. London is active in the Colorado legal community where he has authored numerous articles for industry publications including The Colorado Lawyer. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the Denver Bar Association, and the William E. Doyle Inn of Court. He is active in the Legal Aid Foundation’s Associates Campaign.

Mr. London earned his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he served as the Articles Editor for the Denver University Law Review and taught first-year students in legal writing. At DU, he earned numerous accolades including the Scholastic Excellence Award in Energy Law and the Josiah G. Holland Memorial Scholarship. He earned his bachelor’s degree in international studies and music from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Mr. London is fluent in French.
