Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Beth Miller to its Employee Benefits Practice Group. Beth brings with her more than 19 years of experience providing legal guidance and risk mitigation strategies to service providers in the retirement industry and employers.
Prior to joining Spencer Fane, Beth served as Senior Counsel at Great-West Financial, providing legal solutions to help business partners identify and mitigate legal, reputation and financial risks. She has also served as an associate with Dentons, in-house counsel with J.P. Morgan Retirement Plan Services, and as a benefits consultant with KPMG.

Beth’s range of experience includes advising clients on complex employee benefits matters, including plan governance, operational risk, plan services and fiduciary obligations; negotiating numerous agreements for plan administration services and advisory services and helping clients analyze fee arrangements and disclosures; and interacting with the IRS, DOL and SEC on behalf of clients regarding audits, compliance and regulatory filings.
At Spencer Fane, Beth will advise clients on a broad range of employee benefits matters, including qualified retirement plans, executive compensation, fiduciary issues, and plans of tax-exempt employers.
Beth is a graduate of the University of Kansas, having earned her undergraduate degree, her MBA and her Juris Doctor. She was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 1997.
