Leck earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he was the founding member and articles editor of the Environmental Law and Policy Annual Review. Additionally, he was the winner of the 2008 Jon E. Hastings Memorial Writing Competition sponsored by the Environmental Law Section of the Tennessee Bar Association, a Chancellor’s Law Scholar, a Vanderbilt Ambassador, a member of the Environmental Law Society and made the Dean’s List.
