New Partner Adam Veltri Brings C-Suite, GC Experience to Growing Office
Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to welcome Adam Veltri as a partner in the Oil and Gas and Real Estate practice groups.
Veltri boasts 30 years of experience with much of his career focused on the oil and gas industry, including acquisitions, divestitures, financings, development, and operations. He has held executive roles with numerous exploration and production (E&P) companies, including positions as General Counsel, Chief Executive Officer, Co-Head of Acquisitions and Divestitures, and Head of Land.
“We are excited and fortunate to welcome an attorney of Adam’s caliber to the firm, and have every confidence that his leadership and experience within the oil and gas industry, as well as his vast real estate and transactional experience, will be an immediate benefit to our clients in the energy sector and beyond,” said Ron Fano, Office Managing Partner for Spencer Fane in Denver. “He understands the difficult choices that face corporate executives and general counsel because he has been in those roles himself, which is invaluable experience to rely upon when counseling clients through major business transactions.”
In addition to his oil and gas experience, Veltri has spent 15 years advising high-profile banks and investment firms on various real estate, joint ventures, capital markets and M&A transactions. He is also an experienced Commercial and Industrial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program attorney. C-PACE helps building owners undertake qualifying energy efficiency and clean energy improvements and repay the investment as an additional charge on a personal property tax bill.
Veltri is admitted to practice law in Colorado, Wyoming and New York, and admitted to the Supreme Court in each of those states. He completed his undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Albany before earning his Juris Doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
