Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce the addition of Carly Duvall as Of Counsel to the firm’s Litigation practice group in Kansas City.
Duvall focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and has represented clients in state and federal courts on employment, contract, real estate, employee benefit and intellectual property matters. She has experience in all phases of litigation, including pretrial processes, and has advocated in evidentiary hearings and arbitration.
“Carly represents another solid addition to our Kansas City office,” said Patrick J. Whalen, Spencer Fane managing partner. “She comes to Spencer Fane with a broad range of experiences that will be beneficial in continued efforts to better serve our clients.”
Duvall has been admitted to the Missouri and Kansas bars and is a past graduate of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Bar Leadership Academy. She has also spent time as a board member for the Kansas City Sports Commission Young Professionals Board and Impact KC.
In addition to her legal work, Duvall previously worked as a legal recruiter and career consultant for law firms, high-end legal boutiques and private companies.
Duvall completed her undergraduate education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before earning her juris doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law. She then served as a law clerk for the Honorable Nanette K. Laughrey of the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
