Overview

Tyler Talgo represents clients in all stages of complex commercial litigation, helping proactively resolve disputes with heavy consideration for sensitive interests and multifaceted objectives. He boasts diverse experience in several areas of law, including business litigation, construction defect and liability issues, surety bond claims, general liability claims, and contract disputes.

In addition to developing favorable strategies for complex litigation matters, Tyler assists with all aspects of case management – including prelitigation negotiations, managing all areas of discovery, trial practice, and post-completion dispute resolution. Prior to entering private practice, he worked in the Utah County Attorney’s Office, where he prosecuted cases in Utah County Justice Court and represented the County Attorney during pretrial conferences, arraignments, case reviews, and other hearings.

Tyler is a sought-after editor and author on construction, surety, and insurance-related issues and is a regular conference presenter. While earning his Juris Doctor at Brigham Young University, he completed clerkships with the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee in Washington, D.C., and the Utah Division of Securities, where he assisted with various tasks to advance the Division’s policy objectives.
