Spencer Fane attorney Scott Hathaway

Overview

Scott Hathaway helps owners, developers, design professionals, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers navigate construction-related challenges so they can complete projects efficiently, manage risk, and protect their business interests.

His practice encompasses both litigation and non-litigation construction matters, including contract negotiation, project counseling, claims management, and dispute resolution. Drawing on extensive experience across the construction industry, Scott works with clients at every project stage, helping them address legal issues before they become disputes and advocating for their interests when conflicts arise.

In addition to his construction practice, Scott represents construction companies, energy companies, manufacturers, and other businesses in labor and employment matters and general commercial litigation. By understanding the operational realities facing his clients, he develops practical legal strategies aligned with their business objectives.

Outside his practice, Scott is active in the community through leadership and volunteer service. He serves as vice chairman of the Oklahoma Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and supports the Tulsa Boys’ Home through volunteer efforts and charitable involvement.
