Overview
Macy Matthews is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Business Transactions group in the Plano office. She assists clients in all aspects of their business needs, and has experience advising clients on a diverse range of transactional matters, including forming and structuring business entities, asset purchase agreements, corporate governance, and commercial real estate transactions.
Macy earned her J.D. from Baylor University School of Law in 2018, where she graduated cum laude. While completing her studies, she earned the Haley & Olson, P.C. Corporate Law Award and Larry T. Bates Excellence in Appellate Advocacy Award, and was elected to the Order of the Barristers. She also gained invaluable experience by completing an in-house counsel externship for an international corporation. Macy earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Texas A&M University, where she graduated with honors and was a member of the TAMU Pre-Law Society.
