Overview

Jeramy Ashton focuses his diverse practice on developing and implementing effective dispute resolution strategies to help clients efficiently and beneficially resolve legal matters in a manner that mitigates and minimizes monetary and reputational damage. In particular, he utilizes a background as a health care worker, consultant, and policy staffer to defend health care professionals and systems in various healthcare and employment matters.

With a proven commitment to collaborative approaches, Jeramy coordinates with all key stakeholders to advocate for businesses and individuals in venues across the country before mediators, arbitration panels, judges, and juries.

Prior to entering private practice, Jeramy gained valuable experience as a law clerk working in civil rights litigation. He later served as a Public Health Law Fellow for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Legal Fellow for the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, Research Fellow for the National Agricultural Law Center, and Judicial Extern for Judge Wilson in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.

For outstanding service with the federal court, the International Association of LGBTQ+ Judges selected Jeramy as a 2023 recipient of the Honorable Paul G. Feinman Scholarship.

While earning his Juris Doctor, Jeramy became the founder and president of the Health Law and Policy Society (HeLPS) and published multiple scholarly articles pertaining to health equity, including work presented before the U.S. House Judiciary Committee and later offered publication with the American Bar Association.
