Dean Smith focuses his practice on all types of complex commercial litigation, collaborating with other attorneys to provide effective and efficient advocacy for clients before mediators, arbitration panels, judges and juries. He understands the importance of aligning risk-mitigation strategies and tactical decisions with each client’s business perspective and specific goals. His litigation experience includes cases concerning breach of fiduciary duty, professional liability, fraud, and Chapter 7 and 11 proceedings.
Dean completed his undergraduate studies in business administration and management at Texas A&M University and earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law while acting as an Articles Editor for the International Law Review Association.
