Anton Stewart

Overview
Anton Stewart focuses his practice on a broad spectrum of labor and employment matters. He provides comprehensive, management-centered counsel to public and private clients and handles employment disputes in state and federal agencies, courts, and arbitration tribunals.
With an added concentration on unfair competition and trade secret disputes, Anton helps businesses protect their most valuable nontangible assets. He assists clients from a variety of industries – including insurance, health care, and financial services – with navigating complex issues involved in enforcing post-employment restrictions across state (and national) borders and advises clients on implementing proactive safeguards targeted at keeping clients’ financial and customer information in the right hands in the event of isolated or mass departures of their revenue-producing workforce.
Anton is also an accomplished court attorney with substantial experience in all aspects of complex employment, trade secret, and commercial litigation. He has tried cases to verdict, represented clients in state and federal courts across the country, and successfully defended favorable judgments on appeal. Above all, having litigated a plethora of cases, Anton targets his advice to avoiding unnecessary litigation where possible through contractual, extracontractual, and ADR means, helping clients keep their legal expenses at bay.
Anton is also notably trilingual in English, Russian, and French and boasts comprehensive legal education from Russia, Scotland, and the U.S. This permits him to spot issues and offer advice germane to an ever-globalizing workforce, a growing fraction of which tends to be remote.
