AAPL recently released an important update to its Model Form Joint Operating Agreement, which serves as the key contract establishing the operating framework and the rights and responsibilities between developing parties in oil and gas ventures. The provisions of the new Form 610-2015 JOA, and how it differs from earlier agreements, are of critical importance to operators and non-operators as well as investors.

Paul focuses his practice on oil and gas matters involving complex transactions and litigation. He has served as in-house counsel for an energy company and as a private practice attorney where he has litigated in Federal and State Courts, as well as the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
