Mike Hockley Elected Treasurer of the American College of Environmental Lawyers

At the recent annual meeting of the American College of Environmental Lawyers, Spencer Fane Partner Mike Hockley was elected Treasurer, and will be one of four Officers leading the College for the upcoming year.

The American College of Environmental Lawyers (ACOEL) is a professional association of distinguished lawyers who practice in the field of environmental law. Membership is by invitation and members are recognized by their peers as preeminent in their field. ACOEL members are dedicated to maintaining and improving the ethical practice of environmental law; the administration of justice; and the development of environmental law at both the state and federal level. Mike previously chaired the College’s membership committee.

Mike Hockley is a member of the Spencer Fane Environmental Law practice group and has served in a variety of firm management positions, including as a member of the firm’s executive committee. Mike’s practice concentrates on litigation, environmental law, and renewable energy, with an emphasis on environmental litigation, regulatory permitting, and environmental enforcement proceedings. He also advises clients concerning federal procurement issues and government contract dispute litigation.
