Secretary of the Army Mark Esper recently appointed Spencer Fane attorney Mike Hockley as Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army (CASA) for Kansas (East). Mike was nominated by retired Lt. Gen. Robert Arter and Lt. Gen. Michael Lundy, Commander of the Combined Arms Center at Ft. Leavenworth, for his experience serving the military and community.
As a CASA, Mike will promote positive relations between the Army and the public, and advise the Secretary about regional issues. “After serving the Army for almost three decades as an active duty and reserve officer and supporting the mission of the Army as a trustee of the Command & General Staff College Foundation for the past decade, it is a privilege and honor to continue serving the Army as CASA for the state of Kansas,” Mike said.
