Spencer Fane attorney Mike Hockley recently wrote an article for the Overland Park (OP) Chamber’s April newsletter, highlighting the importance of the OP Chamber’s role as public advocates.
In the article, Mike gave examples of the OP Chamber’s projects, including their efforts to improve the state’s unemployment system and supporting the business community with individual case work. Since the newsletter release in April, the unemployment legislation has now been passed.
“[T]he the success of our economy and our community are directly impacted by the rules, regulations, [and] ordinances and laws our elected officials enact…directly impact[ing] how we run our businesses and the quality of life we seek in Overland Park,” Mike explained.
