Spencer Fane attorney Melissa Sherman was recently honored by Missouri Lawyers Weekly as a recipient of the Women’s Justice Award in the Litigation Practitioner category. According to Missouri Lawyers Media, the Women’s Justice Awards recognize women across the state “who have demonstrated leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice and accomplishment in improving the quality of justice and exemplifying the highest ideals of the legal profession.”
In recognition of her accomplishment, Melissa was honored during a ceremony hosted by Missouri Lawyers Media on May 3, and was also featured in a Missouri Lawyers Weekly article that detailed her meticulous approach to the practice of law.
“Take on every matter in the same way,” Melissa said. “From the small matter to the million-dollar matter, you ought to approach it with that same care and give the client the same amount of attention.”
