Spencer Fane Partner Ken Mason was recently featured in an article by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) concerning new guidance from the IRS under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). This guidance clarified that the inflation-adjusted percentages used to determine “affordable” health coverage for purposes of the ACA’s individual mandate will also apply to the affordability “safe harbors” available to employers.
