Spencer Fane attorneys Josh Dickinson and Kersten Holzhueter recently spoke at the Receivables Management Association (RMA) Annual Conference to help provide industry education and regulatory updates.
Josh’s session, which was titled “Current Issues in Debt Buying: Trends & Topics”, detailed current court decisions impacting debt buying. Kersten presented “Go All in with Specialty Debt Collection Laws and Strategies”, which focused on defenses for creditors arising from debtors’ bankruptcy proceedings.
