Spencer Fane Counsel Jane Dueker was recently included among the 2015 list of 100+ people in Missouri public policy you need to know by The Missouri Times. The annual list features a variety of individuals who work across a range of sectors in the public policy process from campaign managers and public relations consultants to lobbyists and political party officials. She was also included on The Missouri Times 2013 100+ list of people you need to know in Missouri politics and political media.
As reported in the article, Dueker is a former Holden administration staffer where she held the leadership positions of chief of staff and the first female chief legal counsel in Missouri’s history. Dueker also served as an assistant attorney general for current Governor (then Missouri Attorney General), Jay Nixon.
Today, Dueker serves as a lobbyist and counsel in the firm’s Governmental Affairs and Litigation practice groups. She is also an active leader and prominent figure in the St. Louis community where she is a regular host and political analyst for local news radio, KMOX, and is the immediate past president of the Board for the Foster and Adoptive Care Coalition.
Dueker has been recognized for a myriad of professional and civic accomplishments throughout her career including most recently when she was named as the “Most Popular” 40 Under 40 2003 class by the St. Louis Business Journal.
