Gerry Greiman Elected a Vice Chair of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs

Spencer Fane Partner Gerry Greiman was elected a Vice Chair of the Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) at its annual plenum in March 2013, in Washington, D.C. The JCPA is the national public affairs arm of the organized Jewish community. Founded in 1944, and based in New York, the JCPA formulates policy positions and advocates on issues of key importance to the Jewish and general communities. The JCPA works through a network of 14 national and 125 local independent partner agencies.

Greiman has been a member of the JCPA’s Board of Directors for several years and also serves as Co-Chair of its Jewish Security and Bill of Rights Task Force. As a Vice Chair, he will join the JCPA’s Executive Committee. From 2009 through 2012, Greiman was President of the St. Louis Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), which is a partner agency of the JCPA.

In his role as Vice Chair, Greiman will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of civic, political and religious leaders around the country, as well as prominent members of the legal profession and business leaders. Greiman said he is “very honored to be chosen for a Vice Chair position,” and sees it as “a great opportunity to give back to the community.”

Greiman’s involvement with the JCPA serves as a hallmark of Spencer Fane’s support for community engagement. Spencer Fane is deeply committed to the communities we serve, and encourages all lawyers and staff to pursue passions which serve to aid and enrich their communities.
