Spencer Fane is proud to announce that Gary Powell, a Partner in our Springfield office, has been named one of Springfield Business Journal’s Men of the Year for 2014.
Each year, an independent panel of judges selects 20 honorees for this prestigious award, which recognizes professional, philanthropic and civic contributions of men from across southwest Missouri.
Gary is a member of the Estate Planning, Trusts and Estates Group at Spencer Fane, and has more than 30 years of experience in estate planning and tax and business transactions. He is a published author, frequent speaker on estate planning and tax topics, and is on the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, Springfield Business Development Corporation, Boys and Girls Club of Springfield and Salvation Army.
“I’m proud to receive this honor and to be named alongside the other community leaders who also received the award.” said Gary. “It’s a testament to the work many of us have done to make Springfield and the entire southwest Missouri area a better place to live and work.”
