At a recent AAPC meeting in Colorado, Ellen Stewart updated attendees on benefits plans and ERISA issues as they relate to medical coding.

Ellen helps health care clients successfully navigate a myriad of legal issues and regulations so they can effectively deliver patient care while still meeting their business goals. She is a former chair of the Health Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, is a fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and is teaching the first-ever class in health law at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
