Overview

Savannah Charles helps clients navigate complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters within the firm’s Banking and Financial Services practice group, drawing on her knowledge of bankruptcy proceedings to provide thoughtful and strategic guidance.

Previously, Savannah was a summer associate at Spencer Fane, where she gained hands-on legal experience and learned about the firm’s collaborative approach to client service; served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Sage Sigler of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia; and completed a legal externship with the U.S. Trustee Program also within the Northern District of Georgia, where she conducted research on complex bankruptcy issues, drafted legal documents, and supported case management.

While earning her Juris Doctor, Savannah served as executive clinic editor for the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal and competed on the Southern Regional Black Law Students Association Moot Court Team.
