Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce the addition of John D. Ryan, who joins the firm in its growing litigation practice.
For 15 years, Ryan has focused his practice on commercial litigation, products liability, government relations, and land use and redevelopment. Licensed in Missouri and the United States District Courts in Missouri and Illinois, Ryan counsels clients with a variety of business needs.

Prior to joining Spencer Fane, Ryan served as an attorney at Osburn, Hine, & Yates LLC in Cape Girardeau. Previously he practiced at Lathrop & Gage in St. Louis after serving as law clerk to the Honorable Rodney W. Sippel at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Ryan obtained his law degree from St. Louis University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Truman State University.
