Spencer Fane Team Secures Close of SEC Investigation

Spencer Fane attorneys Patrick McInerney and Leslie Witterschein recently secured a favorable result for a client – the closure of an ongoing insider trading investigation without charges or penalties for our client. After an extensive investigation lasting more than two years, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) closed the case in early June, declining to charge or sanction Spencer Fane’s client.

The Spencer Fane White Collar & Government Investigations team, which features former federal and state prosecutors, works to intentionally and thoughtfully analyze any legal issues to resolve investigations promptly and with the best possible outcome.
