Jeffrey L. Spray

Overview
Jeff Spray combines experience accrued in private practice and government and corporate roles to offer assessment, proactive counsel, and dispute resolution representation, helping clients solve complex legal issues in an effort to minimize exposure and avoid business interruptions. His litigation work includes a track record of success in handling labor and employment, corporate transactions, and other general civil matters.
Prior to entering private practice, Jeff worked as a staff attorney in the Office of General Counsel for the Missouri Department of Revenue. His work involved representation in sales tax litigation on contested cases before the Administrative Hearing Commission and assisting auditors in identifying issues of importance and trial testimony preparation.
Jeff’s current litigation practice includes a focus on collaborative and responsive client service to address the full range of risks businesses and individuals might encounter. He brings the ability to provide advocacy in state and federal courts, along with the full range of alternative dispute resolution methods.
Most recently, Jeff spent time as a quality engineer for a large manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of consumer and commercial products. His work in cataloging and addressing vendor compliance issues, performing regular reviews of internal quality standards, and implementing a performance and quality improvement system benefits his detailed case management standards vital to his litigation practice.
