Spencer Fane chairman, Pat Whalen, was recently interviewed by the Kansas City Business Journal about the firm’s continued growth and success.
In the article, Pat attributes the firm’s success to several factors, including successful entry into new markets, retention of experienced lawyers and strong relationships with growing clients that have increasing need for services.
“We offer a different value proposition to our clients,” Pat explained in the article. “We’re leaner, more strategic and pragmatic in the advice and counseling we provide. So we focus a lot of effort on the front end of the hiring process to make sure the talent we bring in shares those same basic values and principles, believes in collaboration and focus on client service. We really want to get the right fit and make sure there is an alignment between the folks we bring in and our culture.”
