Spencer Fane attorney Nate Orr recently appeared on FOX4’s Great Day KC to highlight Band of Angels, the 2023-2025 recipient of the firm’s Kansas City charitable grant program.
In the news segment – Band of Angels Receives $50,000 Grant! – Nate and Band of Angels Director of Programs Kristy Peck discussed how this partnership will support the charity’s mission to provide instruments and music education to students in need. Nate also elaborated on the responsibility Spencer Fane feels to advance art programs in the community.
“We saw the arts as the seedling by which we thought this community was going to explode,” Nate said. “[And] when we have the opportunity to give a grant to an arts organization that features children … it makes it all the more special.”
At Spencer Fane, Nate serves as outside general counsel for his clients, managing their legal matters across all the firm’s practice areas and ensuring that clients get the best and most responsive representation possible for their unique matters. In doing so, he takes the lead role in coordinating clients’ projects in litigation and government affairs.
