Mary Bacon Honored as Nevada Trailblazer by Nevada Lawyer Magazine

Spencer Fane attorney Mary Bacon was named a Nevada Trailblazer by Nevada Lawyer Magazine, a State Bar of Nevada publication, in the magazine’s January issue.

In the article, Meet Mary Bacon and Ryan Gormley: Authors Committed to Improving Our Legal Community, Mary was showcased alongside her co-author – Ryan Gormley of Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial – in the very monthly column they’ve written together for the past two years.

Nevada Trailblazers profiles diverse individuals who have made groundbreaking achievements in the Nevada legal community. This series has shined a spotlight on legal and community leaders that include Nevada’s first African American female district court judge, the Hon. Tierra D. Jones, and Reno’s first openly gay City Council member, Devon Reese. Each month, Nevada Lawyer readers learn about a new Trailblazer’s career, accomplishments, and personal life.

The magazine profiled Mary and Ryan in recognition of their achievements with the column. In addition to highlighting Mary’s accomplishments, the article provided testimonials about the impact she makes on the legal industry.
