Titled “What to Consider Before Implementing a Mandatory Vaccine Policy,” the article discusses the lawfulness of vaccine policies based on current guidance as the first vaccines became available. This includes guidance from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on how they relate to federal employment laws like the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, and others.
“When deciding whether to implement a mandatory vaccination policy, employers should carefully consider the consequences,” Katherine writes in the article, “including whether requiring the vaccine is necessary for the normal functioning of the workplace.”
