Spencer Fane attorney Jamie Cotter recently presented at the 22nd Annual Eminent Domain Institute Conference in Denver, Colorado.
Jamie’s presentation titled “Precondemnation Checklist, Crossing the T’s and Dotting the I’s Before a Case is Filed,” outlined 10 steps that should be taken prior to filing any condemnation action. The ten steps Jamie identified are designed to help condemnors increase the chances that a case will reach an early resolution, and also help condemnors put their best case forward at trial if a settlement cannot be reached.
