Spencer Fane Adds Partner, 2 Of Counsel to New Minneapolis Office

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys to the firm’s newly established Minneapolis office. Jon Farnsworth is a partner in the Business Transactions practice group, while Laurie Quinn and Leslie Witterschein both join the firm as Of Counsel in the Litigation practice group.

Spencer Fane now has six total attorneys in the Minneapolis office, which opened Tuesday, Jan. 8.

Heeman, Managing Partner for the firm’s office in Minneapolis. “Spencer Fane plans to grow this office in a manner that allows the firm to provide the high level of legal service our clients expect and deserve.”

With the addition of Minneapolis and Tampa locations in recent weeks, Spencer Fane operates 17 offices located throughout the nation. The growth of the firm’s geographic footprint and service offerings is driven by a longstanding strategy to continually align resources with the evolving needs of its client base.

Jon Farnsworth — Farnsworth’s practice focuses on all aspects of business law, with an emphasis on technology transactions. He provides a comprehensive approach to matters that includes not just guidance but practical ideas that align with a client’s business goals. He has served clients in the technology, retail, medical, specialized manufacturing, real estate, fitness and athletics, security, and consumable products and service industries.

Laurie Quinn — Quinn brings more than a decade of experience in litigation and government investigations to her practice after beginning her legal career as a criminal defense attorney. Her civil litigation practice includes general business matters, employment, trusts and estates, and occupational licensing. Her compliance and enforcement work focuses on helping companies through all aspects of investigations, government enforcement actions and civil and criminal claims, as well as developing compliance strategies, policies and practices.

Leslie Witterschein — Witterschein focuses her practice in E-Discovery, enhancing outcomes of her clients’ complex business and litigation matters. She also provides counsel and representation to clients in, employment and land use matters. She prioritizes fully understanding client needs in all legal matters to obtain the best results that align personal and business goals.
