Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Dean Smith has joined the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice as an associate in the firm’s Dallas office.
Smith’s practice will focus on all types of complex commercial litigation, collaborating with other attorneys to provide effective and efficient advocacy for clients before mediators, arbitration panels, judges and juries. He understands the importance of aligning risk-mitigation strategies and tactical decisions with each client’s business perspective and specific goals.
Prior to entering private practice, Smith gained valuable legal experience through multiple internships and clerkships.

Smith completed his undergraduate studies in business administration and management at Texas A&M University and earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law.
