Spencer Fane Adds Depth to Financial Services Practice with Addition of Sallaway

Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce John Sallaway has joined the Financial Services Practice Group as an of counsel attorney in the firm’s Plano office.

Sallaway guides lenders and borrowers through the structuring, documentation and negotiation of various financial transactions, helping his clients to achieve their objectives, mitigate risks, and pursue opportunities for growth. Additionally, Sallaway represents businesses ranging from small startup entities to very large public companies on all aspects of corporate operations and associated legal needs, developing legal strategies that facilitate efficient and beneficial transactions.

Sallaway brings a wide range of experience in all aspects of corporate operations and associated legal needs while also assisting in identifying and coordinating corporate finance options. He provides counsel in these areas while helping his clients stay ahead of critical issues and maintain successful operations throughout the entirety of the process. In addition to his experience in private practice, Sallaway previously served as an executive for a software company specializing in virtual remote workplaces, giving him a unique understanding of the client perspective and the need to provide efficient, straightforward legal counsel that contributes to achieving business objectives.

Sallaway completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Dallas and earned his Juris Doctor from the Texas Tech University School of Law.
