Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Erin Bustamante-Trinidad has joined the firm’s Denver office as an associate in the Employee Benefits Practice Group.
Bustamante-Trinidad’s legal experience involves a wide range of employee benefits work, including fiduciary responsibilities, 401(k) and retirement plans, and compliance. She also has experience in Department of Labor and IRS filings related to ERISA reporting.

Bustamante-Trinidad earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law in 2017. She earned a Scholastic Excellence Award in 2014 and served as president of the Latino Law Students Association from 2015-2016.
Prior to law school, Bustamante-Trinidad graduated from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and spent over ten years in the insurance industry.
