Spencer Fane attorney Shawn Tuma recently presented at the Texas Association of Bank Counsel (TABC) Convention on cybersecurity.
Titled “Cyber Risk Management for Banks & Financial Institutions,” Shawn’s presentation outlined cybersecurity laws and regulations, management program development, and best practices. Identifying potential gaps in cyber risk management, Shawn explained the guidelines for financial institutions to follow to avoid “just checking the box.”
