Spencer Fane attorney Sean McKenna co-led a March 28 Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA) webinar focused on internal investigations in the health care industry.
During the presentation, Effectively Using Compliance and Other Professionals to Defend and Rebut Audit and Investigation Allegations, Sean joined Stout Managing Director Melissa Scott to provide valuable insight regarding both conducting and responding to internal audits and investigations. Together, they discussed how to effectively use their prosecutor and consultant skill sets to assist providers, offered tips about internal audits and investigations, and presented leading practices to help avoid or mitigate enforcement actions.
