Spencer Fane attorney John Browning was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees for The Texas Supreme Court Historical Society (TSCHS). He will serve in this leadership position through 2022.
As a trustee, John will work with the Board to advise on key decisions for the organization and help sustain crucial relationships with donors.
The TSCHS is a non-profit organization, that is “dedicated to the collection and preservation of information, papers, photographs, and significant artifacts relating to the Supreme Court and the appellate courts of Texas,” and raising public awareness of the judicial branch in Texas through the use of research and scholarships. John is an active member and serves as Editor-in-Chief for the TSCHS Journal, often writing about historical topics. In addition to his involvement with TSCHS, John also serves as a Trustee for the Texas Appellate Hall of Fame.
