Spencer Fane LLP is pleased to announce Henry C. Leventis received a presidential nomination to serve as U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee on July 29. His appointment is pending confirmation before the U.S. Senate.

In announcing three new nominees to serve as U.S. Attorneys across the country, the White House said each was selected for their “devotion to enforcing the law, their professionalism, their experience and credentials, their dedication to pursuing equal justice for all, and their commitment to the independence of the Department of Justice.”
“These are officials who will be indispensable to upholding the rule of law as top federal law enforcement officials,” the White House said in its statement.

From 2017 to 2019, as head of the White Collar Crime Unit, Henry focused on health care fraud, securities fraud, and public corruption. During this time, he worked closely with officials in the Justice Department’s Criminal Division as well as leadership in the FBI, the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
