Spencer Fane attorney Erick Robinson spoke on software patent eligibility at the University of Texas School of Law’s (UT Law) 27th Annual Advanced Patent Law Institute on October 20 in Austin, Texas.
During his presentation, Advanced Patent Drafting: Strategies and Tactics, Erick shared best practices for addressing 101 issues in patent prosecution. He also shared strategies to maximize patent value and strength in litigation. He was joined by Jonathan Harder, Dickinson Wright; and Matthew Osterhaus, Fletcher Yoder.

Speakers and attendees included senior IP counsel of major corporations, patent prosecution and litigation experts from around the nation, U.S. District Court judges, and leading academics.
